The Project

South Fork Little River Flood Control Project

The South Fork Little River Flood Control Project is a vital component of the overall HSSU flood prevention plan, working in conjunction with the South Fork High Flow Culvert and Hopkinsville flood control systems.

The South Fork flood control structure is a labyrinth weir that will help to control floodwater using a smaller structure footprint. The structure is within city limits and will have no upstream flood impact.
